Introducing the Oxford Bookworms Library
I have joined many English learning forums and met people who are proficient in English. They all recommended that I read the “Oxford Bookworms Library” series. After researching, I found that this is the best book series for English learners.
Not exaggerating, the “Oxford Bookworms Library” series is a must-have for anyone learning English. It helps you improve your vocabulary, develop your thinking skills in English, and much more.
The “Oxford Bookworms Library” is a series of English practice books developed by Oxford University. Each story in the series is a famous literary work, carefully selected by Oxford lecturers. The series is divided into seven levels, from Starter (Level 1) to Advanced (Level 6).
Each level includes various genres such as jokes, science fiction, detective stories, ghost stories, western literature, and more. These stories help learners improve reading and listening skills, expand their vocabulary, and practice intonation in everyday contexts.
“The most consistent of all series in terms of language control, length, and quality of story.”
– David R. Hill, Director of the Edinburgh Project on Extensive Reading.
